[5.0] "AKIRA vs. KNIGHT: 2.25* - AKIRA is on try-out duty this time, and these two have a fine but totally unremarkable match to start the show. / OHARA vs. LOVE: 1.5* - Jessica Love is... interesting. Not quite sure what to make of her, but I'm definitely sure that Ohara deserves better than this. He loses after being forcibly kissed, which puts him into a laughing fit and allows Love to hit a swanton bomb for the win. It was a decent match until the ridiculous finish. Love is fine for comic relief and has some nice moves but WTF Tajiri, do better. / SHOJI, SYURI & KODAMA vs. NANPUN, BAIRON & MENTALLO: 2* - Nanpun is a chore, and this could have been better. Nice to see Bairon getting the pin. / VALENTINE vs. TAJIRI: 2.25* - Most of these FCF guys are mid and Valentine is no different. / KUSHIDA vs. DEVITT: 3.25* - A satisfying main event. Started with really nice chain wrestling and had a slow build for a juniors match. I think an extra 5 mins would have gone a long way here, since there wasn't much of a final stretch to speak of. Still easily the best match of the show. / IN SUMMARY: Overall, the weakest SMASH show yet but the main event picked up some of the slack."

[4.0] "Weiterhin bot SMASH damals eine gute Mischung und ein grundsympathisches "Produkt" aber das Wrestling war hier recht schwach, die ersten drei Matches gaben nur wenig her. Der Semi Main Event ging durchaus in Ordnung, der Main Event war dagegen richtig gut und sehenswert."

[4.0] "Nicht ganz so unterhaltsam wie SMASH. 2 für mich. Matches arg kurz, was im Falle des Opener OK ist (*3/4), aber bei Ohara vs. Love war das schon schade (*3/4). Jessica Love macht ihren/seinen Job einfach großartig. Six Man richtig gut, solange Kim Nanpun nicht beteiligt war, denn der Kollege ist nicht gut im Ring. Syuri vs. Bairon erneut große klasse (**1/2). Valentine wirkt extrem unerfahren und seine Aktionen sehen ziemlich lahm aus. Tajiri macht hier die WWE Entertainment Schiene komplett mit Refbump Finish, was aber OK ging (*1/2). Main Event mit Devitt, der selbst hier vor kleinem Publikum einfach richtig gut ist und KUSHIDA, dessen Talent ihn ja schnell einen Job bei NJPW bescherte (***)."
